SC Farm Report on Wednesday
SC Livestock auctions were closed yesterday due to inclement weather.
Hogs on Tuesday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-300 lbs was not reported. Sows live
price 300-450 lbs 54.96; 450-500 lbs 64.77; 500-550 lbs 65.48.
SC Grain on Wednesday: Corn was 4 cents higher, New Crop buds 3 to 4
cents higher; elevator bids 3.90-5.05, processor bids 4.60-5.20. Soybeans
were 8 cents higher; elevator bids 9.40-10.85, processor bids n/a, and
export 11.15. Wheat bids were 4 to 13 cents higher; elevator bids 4.96,
processor bids 4.80-6.86.
Cotton on Wednesday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade 10 cents
lower at 62.23
