SC Farm Report on Tuesday
SC Livestock auctions were closed yesterday due to inclement
weather.
Hogs on Friday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-320 lbs price was not reported.
Sows live price 300-450 lbs 55.82; 450-500 lbs 65.42; 500-550 lbs 65.35.
SC Grain on Monday: Corn bids were 2 cents lower; elevator bids 3.86-
5.02, processor bids 4.57-5.17. New Crop bids were 1 cent lower. Soybean
bids were mostly 5 to 6 cents higher, elevator bids 9.32-10.77, processor
bid n/a, and export 11.07. Wheat bids were mixed at 2 cents lower to 1
cent higher; elevator bids 4.83, processor bids 4.76-6.73.
Cotton on Monday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 1.11
higher at 62.33.
