SC Farm Report on Tuesday

   Cattle at SC Auctions on Monday: Feeder Steers Medium and Large 1 400-
500 lbs 400.00-460.00, 500-600 lbs 395.00-465.00. Feeder Bulls: Medium 
and Large 1 400-500 lbs 460.00-475.00, 500-600 lbs 395.00-460.00. Feeder 
Heifers: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 400.00-440.00, 500-600 lbs 
360.00. Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 165.00-170.00; Boners 
80%-85% lean 174.00-176.00; Lean 85-90% lean 143.00; Lean low dressing 
178.00. Slaughter Bulls: Average Dressing 192.00; High Dressing none
reported; Low Dressing 178.00.
   Cow/Calf Pairs: none reported
Hogs on Tuesday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 250-300 lbs weighted average live price 
not reported.  Carcass Base Price was n/a at 80.19.  Sows live price 300-
450 lbs 54.49; 450-500 lbs 64.04; 500-550 lbs 64.08.     
   SC Grain on Tuesday: Corn bids were 2 cents lower, one location 3
cents higher; elevator bids 3.81-4.97, processor bids 4.52-5.12.  Soybean 
bids were steady to 1 cent higher; elevator bids 9.29-10.69, and export 
10.94.  Wheat bids were 2 to 3 cents lower; elevator bids 4.67-4.68.
   Cotton on Tuesday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was .04 
lower at 62.55.
