SC Farm Report on Tuesday

   Cattle at SC Auctions on Monday: Feeder Steers Medium and Large 1 400-
500 lbs 475.00-530.00, 500-600 lbs 400.00-435.00. Feeder Bulls: Medium 
and Large 1 400-500 lbs 450.00-485.00, 500-600 lbs 380.00-422.50. Feeder 
Heifers: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 405.00-445.00, 500-600 lbs 
350.00-380.00. Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 160.00-175.00; Boners 
80%-85% lean 158.00-185.00; Lean 85-90% lean 148.00-168.00; Lean low 
dressing 100.00-138.00. Slaughter Bulls: Average Dressing 180.00-201.00; 
High Dressing 203.00-209.00; Low Dressing 150.00-177.00.  
   Cow/Calf Pairs: Medium and Large 1 1190-1480 lbs Young to Middle Aged 
Cows with Calves under 300 lbs 2775.00-3650.00 per pair. Medium and Large 
2 875-1000 lbs Young Aged Cows with Calves under 300 lbs 2625.00-3100.00 
per pair. 
   Hogs on Monday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 250-300 lbs weighted average live price 
not reported. Sows live price 300-450 lbs 55.18; 450-500 lbs 63.13; 500-
550 lbs 65.46.     
   SC Grain on Tuesday: Corn bids were 1 cent lower, new crop bids 
steady to 1 cent higher; elevator bids 3.84-4.99, processor bids 4.54-
5.09. Soybean bids were 4 to 5 cents lower; elevator bids 9.18-10.58, and 
export 10.83. Wheat bids were 1 to 8 cents lower; elevator bids 4.70.
   Cotton on Tuesday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 1.32 
lower at 62.59.
