Released on March 12, 2026

Whole milk powder (WMP) prices are higher at the bottom end and unchanged at
the top end of the range for week 11. Stakeholders report South America WMP
prices are getting a boost from Global Dairy Trade (GDT) prices trending
upward. Milk production is generally decreasing as seasonal trends take more of
a hold. Stakeholders indicate milk prices to be steady or increasing. No
changes in WMP production and tight spot load availability are reported this
week. Sellers note demand to be steady or stronger this month. Stakeholders
anticipate strengthening export demand from Algeria. Industry sources convey
Brazilian imports for January and February 2026 are down compared to the year
before.
