Compared to last week: Feeder steers mixed with the 350-400 lbs mostly unweaned
calves 40.00 lower the better 400-600 lbs mostly 3.00 to 5.00 higher with some
weaned calves in the offering and the plainer kind 9.00-17.00 lower. Feeder
heifers 300-350 lbs 2.00 higher 350-600 lbs mostly steady to 12.00 lower no
trend on weights over 600 lbs. Had a group of 40 head guaranteed open heifers
weighing 671 lbs sold for 364.00. Supply was light and quality was average to
plain. Slaughter cows steady to 2.00 lower. Slaughter bulls 2.00-3.00 lower.
