Compared to last week: Feeder steers sharply higher with the 300-400 lbs
20.00-48.00 higher and the 400-650 lbs mostly 15.00-20.00 higher with the
better 500-550 lbs 40.00 higher. Feeder heifers 5.00-20.00 higher. Supply was
moderate with good demand. Quality was good with a mix of weaned and unweaned
calves. Slaughter cows steady to 3.00 higher. Slaughter bulls 1.00 higher.
Replacement cows included two herd sellouts of good quality mostly young to
middle aged cows that sold good.
