Compared to last week, feeder cattle supply was sharply lower. Feeder steers
and heifers sold 15.00-20.00 lower, with the majority of offerings consisting
of unweaned, plainer-quality calves. Buyer demand was moderate and more
selective. Several groups of 700-800 lb heifers were noted as fancy and sold on
a strong demand at a premium. Slaughter cattle sold steady to 2.00 lower.
