Compared to last Wednesday: Feeder steers sold 5.00-7.00 lower and feeder
heifers saw much lower demand. Today's offering lacked the overall quality and
contained very few weaned cattle. The plain quality, bawling, and soft calves
are beginning to face hefty discounts due to health concerns going into
October. Slaughter cows traded steady to 3.00 lower and slaughter bulls were
steady on a light test.
