Compared to last Wednesday: Feeder steers sold 4.00-6.00 higher with the
400-500 lb. steers being sharply higher. Feeder heifers traded 2.00-4.00
higher. All classes of feeders saw instances of significant price increases.
Feeder buyers were paying premiums for the higher quality calves that were in
favorable condition. Slaughter cows sold steady to 2.00 higher and slaughter
bulls were steady on a light test due to low receipts last week.
