FEEDER CATTLE 5003 4474 6227
A rainy wet day filled the seats at the Annual Memorial Day Special. Compared
to the sale two weeks ago, light steers under 500 lbs. and 550 to 650 lbs. sold
2.00 to 23.00 lower, while 500 to 550 lbs. and 650 lbs. and heavier steers sold
steady to 22.00 higher. Heifers less than 500 lbs. sold steady to 4.00 higher,
while heifers over 500 lbs. sold 10.00 to sharply higher. Demand was very good
today. Supply was heavy and included a several load lots along with smaller
strings of cattle.
