Compared to last week, too few feeder cattle receipts for an adequate price
comparison, but steers and heifers under 600lbs sold with a sharply lower
undertone. More plain quality this week, with many small packages of short
weaned or unweaned calves in town. Slaughter cows were mostly 4.00 to 6.00
lower and slaughter bulls were steady to 3.00 lower. Demand was moderate to
light on a light supply.
