Compared to last week, the steers sold mostly steady, with a lower undertone on
the 600-650 lb. steers. The heifers, based on limited comparisons, sold with a
lower undertone. The best test was on the 500-600 lb. heifers that sold 20.00
lower. Slaughter cows and bulls sold steady. Demand was good on a moderate
supply.
