Compared to last week feeder steers and heifers sold 5.00-30.00 higher.
Slaughter cows and bulls sold steady to 3.00 higher. Supply was moderate with
very good demand. A number of barn records were set. Heifers were in very
good demand with 18 head weighing 467 lbs. selling for 518.00/cwt.. Another
group of 18 head weighing 700 lbs. sold for 381.50/cwt. A quality lot of 26
steers weighing 752 lbs. sold for 387.50/cwt.
