Compared to the sale two weeks ago, feeder steers and heifers 10.00-25.00
higher. Slaughter cows and bulls 3.00-5.00 higher. Demand very good. Supply
moderate. Producers took advantage of the stronger feeder trade this week with
several nice consignments in the offering. The market seemed to shrug off the
sharply lower futures on Thursday with the board apparently spooked by news of
a potential worker strike at the JBS plant in Greeley, Co.
