Compared to last week, steers and heifers sold steady to 5.00 higher with the
gain on the 600-725 lb steers. Demand was good for a moderate supply. Cattle
futures were higher Thursday but buyers have mostly already had it figured in
for the last couple weeks. Slaughter cows sold steady to 3.00 lower.
