Compared to last Thursday feeder steers under 500 lbs sold steady to 2.00
higher. Feeder steers over 500 lbs sold mostly steady. Feeder heifers sold 1.00
to 3.00 lower. There was good demand for feeder classes. Buyers still showing
preference for long weaned and vaccinated calves. Those calves that are
unweaned and unvaccinated facing discounts. Slaughter cows sold 6.00 to 8.00
higher. Slaughter bulls sold 2.00 to 4.00 higher. There was good demand for
slaughter classes.
