Movement is moderate to steady for this time of year.
2026 new crop hay is being sold.
Hay growers are trying to find their footing in pricing trends.
Still have a lot of 2025 hay waiting to be sold, too.
Hay producers are still trying to navigate the weather, pests, and the drought.
Different parts of the state are in different phases in their hay production.
Rain is much needed in all parts of Oklahoma.
Prices for new crop hay are still to be determined.
It is still too early to tell what the new crop of grass hay will be.
Drought has decreased to 99.56 percent of the state that has some form
of drought.
The Oklahoma Mesonet Drought Monitor indicates that
0 percent of the state is experiencing exceptional drought, 33.85 percent
is in extreme drought, 47.07 percent is in severe drought, 80.63 percent
is in moderate drought, 99.56 percent is in abnormally dry conditions,
and 0.00 percent has no drought conditions.
