FEEDER CATTLE 7395 6171 8606
Compared to last week: Feeder steers 8.00-15.00 lower. Feeder heifers over
700lbs 5.00-10.00 lower, under 700lbs 15.00 lower. Feeder quality not as good
as last week. Steer and heifer calves unevenly steady. Buyers started Tuesday
cautious, but as the quality improved, they grew more aggressive for both
weaned and unweaned cattle. Prices pushed higher by midday, on Tuesday, before
settling to an unevenly steady close. CME Feeder Cattle back-months down the
limit today.
