FEEDER CATTLE 2200 9389 7224
Compared to last week: Steer calves 5.00-15.00 lower. Heifer calves steady to
10.00 lower. Buyers did pull back today, but plainer quality played a larger
role in the market's downturn. The few drafts of cattle that were thin fleshed
still sold very well. Temperatures have dropped back into the 50s as a cold
front pushed through. After two consecutive lower trading days, cattle futures
posted a strong rally today.
