FEEDER CATTLE 7986 10248 13398
Compared to last week: Feeder steers steady to 6.00 lower. Feeder heifers
4.00-8.00 lower. Steer and heifer calves 10.00-20.00 lower, conservatively. The
Tuesday calf sale felt like October, front-end cattle were unweaned with alot
of bulls and the thin fleshed cattle were very plain . Buyers were very
cautious and definitely didn't get in each other's way on Tuesday. CME futures
made big gains today. Scattered light rain is moving through the area today,
with additional chances for more rain forecasted for the rest of the week.
