Compared to last week: Slaughter cows 2.00-6.00 lower. Slaughter bulls 6.00
higher. Packer demand moderate to good as one major buyer has been out of the
market for the last 2 weeks. Demand remains good for replacements. Cows on
the move to market following the season's first hard freeze for much of the
state. Several old bred cows sold and they traded to very good demand. Demand
for Lean Beef continues strong thus demand for slaughter bulls was very good.
