Oceania whole milk powder (WMP) prices fell in the current reporting period, 
with decreases in both the lower and upper ends of the price range. Domestic 
demand remains stronger than export demand, which weakened during the reporting 
period.

At Global Dairy Trading (GDT) event 381, the average price for WMP across all 
contract periods was $4,173 per metric ton, with the WMP price index down 3.7 
percent from the prior event. The price indices decreased across all contract 
periods for which loads were traded. The volume of WMP traded at event 381 was 
in line with the volume traded at event 380, but was significantly below the 
volume traded at the same time last year (GDT event 357).

Dairy Australia recently released export data for Australia, showing WMP export 
volumes from July 2024 to March 2025 were 48,222 metric tons, up 42.8 percent 
from the same period a year ago.

During GDT event 381, on June 3, 2025, the average price for WMP across all 
contracts periods was $4,173, corresponding to a 3.7 percent decline in the WMP 
price index from the prior event. The average price for the July contract was
