Oceania butter prices were steady at the low end of the price range but 
declined moderately at the top of the range during the recent reporting period. 
Domestic prices shifted down in response to large declines in export prices 
over recent weeks, but steady domestic demand provided some price support. 
Production is steady as milk output remains above year ago levels despite 
declining seasonally.

Recently released export data from New Zealand showed November 2025 butter 
export volumes were 31,996 MT, an increase of 8.1 percent from the year prior. 
Export volumes of butter from January - November 2025 were 244,686 MT, up 8.7 
percent from the same time frame a year ago.
