Compared to 2 weeks ago feeder lambs sold steady to 10.00 lower. Slaughter
lambs sold from 5.00 lower to 10.00 higher. Slaughter ewes sold steady. In
the goat portion of the auction feeder kid goats sold 20.00-75.00 higher.
Slaughter kid goats sold 35.00-75.00 higher. Slaughter nannies sold steady to
20.00 higher. Supply was heavy with very good demand. Perfect spring weather
greeted a standing room only crowd for this late April auction. Feeder lambs
sold up to 430.00/cwt. with slaughter lambs selling up to 420.00/cwt. Fancy
kid goats were in high demand with feeder kids selling up to 580.00/cwt. and
slaughter kids selling up to 600.00/cwt.
