Year over year butter production in the Northeast is stable. Contacts report 
similar production volumes compared to last year. Current manufacturing 
schedules are lighter than previous weeks, but churns are still operating seven 
days a week. Cream volumes are seasonally high, but spot purchases for Class IV 
use are rare in the region. Class II and III facilities are taking the majority 
of spot cream sales. Retail sales are stable and manufacturers continue to 
prioritize retail size packaging over bulk production. Inventory levels are 
balanced.
