Nonfat Dry Milk - East and Central U.S.

Released on October 16, 2025

Both the price series and mostly price series for low/medium heat nonfat dry
milk (NDM) were unchanged in the Central and East regions this week. Contacts
report domestic demand is steady. Export demand is picking up as some contacts
report increased interest from purchasers in Mexico this week. Spot inventories
are tight in the Central region, but contacts say loads are more available in
the East and West. Condensed skim milk is available for drying in the Central
and East regions, allowing drying operations to run steady low/medium heat NDM
production schedules. High heat NDM production is limited as some plant
managers say they are only producing loads to meet contractual obligations.
Spot inventories of high heat NDM are tight, but contacts say demand remains
light. Prices for high heat NDM moved lower across the range this week.

Beginning November 1, 2025, this report will be published at 2:30 PM EST/1:30
