Low and medium heat nonfat dry milk (NDM) prices in the Central and East 
regions increased at the lower ends of the range and the mostly series, while 
prices at the upper ends were unchanged. Contacts report tight inventories in 
both regions, though spot loads may be more available in the West. Production 
of low/medium-heat NDM remains limited, as Class I processors continue pulling 
milk away from balancing facilities. High-heat NDM prices in the Central and 
East regions held steady at both ends of the range. Contacts note inventories 
are extremely tight, and only limited spot loads are available. Plant managers 
say drying operations continue to prioritize low/medium-heat NDM, further 
restricting high-heat production.
