Nonfat Dry Milk - East and Central U.S.

Released on June 25, 2026

Prices for low/medium heat nonfat dry milk (NDM) continued to decline across
the range and mostly price series in the Central and East regions this week. On
the CME daily spot call this week prices are down 6 cents to $1.58, from last
Thursday. Demand is light in both domestic and international markets, and some
contacts say purchasers in Mexico are hesitant to secure loads at current
prices. Spot inventories are tight in the Central and East regions, though
purchasers say loads are readily available in the West. Production is strong,
but some plant managers say they are reducing their low/medium heat NDM output.
Prices for high heat NDM also declined this week, but contacts say demand for
high heat NDM is unchanged. Spot loads are difficult to find and production
remains limited.
