Nonfat Dry Milk - East and Central U.S.

Released on June 05, 2025

The top of the low/medium heat nonfat dry milk (NDM) price range increased this
week, while the bottom was unchanged. Meanwhile, prices moved higher at the
bottom of the mostly price series but held steady at the top. Contacts report
domestic low/medium heat NDM demand has softened somewhat since last week, but
export interest to Mexico is steady. Spot inventories are available but are
tighter in the southern portions of the region. Condensed skim milk is
available, enabling drying operations to run busy production schedules.
Low/medium heat NDM production is steady, but high heat NDM production remains
limited. High heat NDM inventories are tight, and demand is steady. The bottom
of the high heat NDM price range increased this week, while prices were
unchanged at the top.
