Nonfat Dry Milk - East and Central U.S.

Released on May 22, 2025

In the Central region, low/medium heat nonfat dry milk (NDM) prices moved
higher across the range and at the top of the mostly price series. Low/medium
heat NDM domestic demand is steady. Export interest is strengthening as
purchasers in Mexico are looking for additional spot loads to meet their summer
needs. Purchasers say inventories range from snug to tight, with fewer loads
available on the spot market this week. Condensed skim milk remains plentiful
in the Central region, enabling plant managers to run busy production schedules
outputting low/medium heat NDM. Plant managers say high heat NDM production is
limited. Spot high heat inventories are tight, and demand is steady. Both ends
of the high heat NDM price range pushed upwards this week.
