Whey and whey derivatives remain in high demand as the fourth quarter draws to 
a close. Extra Grade and Grade A inventories are tight in the East. There are 
very few spot loads of whey available. High protein whey derivatives are in 
high demand and limiting production of traditional whey powder. Prices for 
Extra Grade and Grade A are higher at the bottom of the range. Whey exports 
remain strong and many contacts are taking orders for next year.
