The dry whey market is strong, and demand continues to rise. Dry whey and whey 
derivatives continue to outpace other powder markets. Extra grade and Grade A 
sales are strong with prices slowly increasing to catch up with the CME. The 
price range rose at both ends this week. Manufacturers are working on securing 
1st Quarter contracts. Demand remains strong for both domestic and 
international markets. Inventory levels of whey are low and some spot sales are 
getting pushed to December deliveries.
