The market was softer than expected this week but trending upward. Current 
events in international trade reinvigorated the demand for dry whey. There was 
some product movement later in the week, resulting in an increase in dry whey 
sales. Contacts are anticipating the demand for dry whey will continue to 
increase in the coming weeks. Cheese production in the East is increasing this 
week, steadying the amount of whey available for sale.  Inventories are healthy 
this week.
