Dry Whey - East U.S.

Released on April 30, 2026

The price for dry whey rose one cent at the top in the East this week and the
bottom of the range did not change. Domestic demand for dry whey is steady and
contacts indicate demand could soften for Extra Grade and Grade A. Export
demand for dry whey is steady, especially in Southeast Asia and Europe. There
was little spot activity this week, due partly to a major industry conference.
High protein whey derivatives continue to be a priority in manufacturing due to
strong demand and high prices. Dry whey inventories are balanced.

Prices for: East, All First Sales, F.O.B., Edible Dry Whey
Price Range - Non-Hygroscopic; Dollars per Pound: 0.6 - 0.71
