Dry whey demand is softer this week in the East region. Production volumes are 
more than sufficient to meet contract and spot demands. Contacts are not overly 
concerned with inventory levels, stating sufficient spot sales are keeping 
volumes from growing too large. The price range for Extra Grade dry whey did 
not change this week, as most producers are pricing at or near the NDPSR, which 
is within the established range. Export demand is steady.
