Compared to last week, steer and heifer calves under 700 lbs sold with a
sharply higher undertone on a much larger offering this week, the best test was
on yearling steers over 800 lbs trading 4.00-8.00 higher and several pot loads
of 700-750 heifers selling 10.00-15.00 higher. Slaughter cows sold steady to
5.00 lower.
