Compared to last week: Feeder steers 5.00 to 10.00 lower, except 450-500 lbs
and 650-700 lbs steady. Feeder heifers steady to 5.00 lower. Very good demand
for light weight cattle to make yearlings of, and for replacement quality
heifers, moderate to good for heavier cattle bound for finishing yards. The
arctic storm that came midweek caused many producers to cancel their
consignments as dangerous temps and windchills moved into the region.
