The bottom of the acid casein price range shifted higher this week, while 
prices are unchanged at the top. Contacts in Oceania report steady demand from 
purchasers in the region but say interest from purchasers in other regions is 
strengthening. Spot loads of acid casein are available in the region. Plant 
managers say they are running steady production schedules, but most of their 
output is going towards contractual obligations.

Rennet casein prices increased across the range this week. Demand for rennet 
casein is strong in Europe, and contacts say interest from purchasers in other 
regions is steady to stronger. Manufacturers are running busy schedules but are 
primarily focused on meeting contract demand. Market participants say loads of 
rennet casein are available for spot purchasing.
