Prices for acid casein increased at the top of the range, while holding steady 
at the bottom. Contacts in Oceania report steady demand in the region and say 
interest from purchasers in other regions is strong. Contract demand for Q2 is 
strong. Spot loads are available, but some contacts suggest inventories are 
getting tighter. Manufacturers are running steady production schedules.

The price range for rennet casein is unchanged this week. Demand is strong in 
Europe, but contacts say high transportation costs are limiting interest from 
purchasers in other regions. Contacts say they are well contracted for Q2. 
Plant managers say they are running busy production schedules, as milk remains 
available in Europe. Loads of rennet casein are available to meet current 
market demands.
