Compared to last Wednesday the feeder market was mostly steady with an average
quality offering. Good quality feeder steers and heifers 600 lbs and under
were mostly steady with a limited supply and good demand for weaned calves.
Buyers were active today and willing to pay premiums for quality, while
discounting plainer and off colored calves severely. Slaughter cows and bulls
were steady to 2.00 higher with a light supply and good demand.
