Montgomery County Livestock held their monthly Sheep and Goat sale Thursday
evening Dec. 11 with a nice offering of slaughter lambs weighing mostly 48-85
lbs selling 30.00-60.00 higher, with instances 70.00 higher than last month.
Feeder lambs traded mostly 20,00-50.00 higher and slaughter ewes sold mostly
20.00-25.00 higher than last months offering. Kid goats traded with a sharply
higher undertone on a light comparison. Market was very active on slaughter
lambs, feeder lambs and ewes with a nice offering of replacement ewes selling.
Montgomery County holds their Sheep and Goat sale the 2nd Thursday of each
month.
