Compared to last sale two weeks ago: Feeder steers and steer calves
15.00-25.00 higher. Some un-weaned steers under 500 lbs up to 20.00 lower.
Feeder heifers 10.00-15.00 higher. Heifer calves 15.00-20.00 higher. Demand
good for feeder cattle; moderate to good for calves. Cattle futures opening
higher this morning. A little renewed hope after some rain showers moved in
over the weekend. We continue this week reaching 100 but some relief is in the
extended forecast. Quality average, end attractive. Several thin fleshed
cattle included.
