Compared to last week: Demand has started good for feeder cattle with early
indications of mostly steady. Commodity futures closed today for the MLK Day
holiday, following a sharply lower day for the cattle complex on Friday. Steer
and heifer calves opening near steady. Quality so far mostly average.
