Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers both were not well tested on
a moderate run of cattle today and no good trend could be established. However
feeder steers were trending higher on the light offering and feeder heifers
were un-even. There was a strait load of 862 lb steers that were in good flesh
that sold for 304.50. Slaughter cows were mostly steady to 5.00 higher and
slaughter bulls were not tested with only one head consigned. Demand on
feeders was good and supply was moderate.
