Compared to last week: Feeder steers under 450 lbs were lightly tested but
sold significantly higher than the previous week, feeder steers over 450 lbs
sold mostly 15.00 to 30.00 higher. Feeder heifers across most weight classes
were 15.00 to 20.00 higher. Slaughter cows sold mostly 4.00 to 8.00 lower and
slaughter bulls on a light test were mostly steady. Supply today was heavy
with a good supply of weaned and pre-vac feeders and demand was strong across
most weight classes of feeders.
