Compared to the last special two weeks ago, steer and heifer calves under 650
lbs were lightly tested on a limited offering with the long timed weaned calves
selling with a firm to higher undertone, with yearling sters over 650 lbs sold
with a firm undertone. There was eight pot loads of yearling heifers with
three pot loads weighing 680-694 lbs selling off the same consignment as two
weeks ago weighing near the same that sold steady to 2.00 higher. The stick
out sales included the pot loads of heifers with three pot loads (222 hd) of
green/thin heifers weighing 659 lbs dropped the gavel at 395.35, three pot
loads weighing from 680-694 lbs sold from 373.00-379.50, pot load 703 lbs at
367.35. Slaughter cows sold steady to 5.00 higher on a light test.
