Compared to last Monday the feeder market was mostly steady with a good quality
offering. Feeder steers 650 lbs and under were mostly steady to 4.00 higher in
spots with a moderate supply and good demand. Feeder heifers 650 lbs and under
were unevenly steady bouncing from 3.00 lower to 3.00 higher across the weight
classes with good demand for weaned packages. No trends on yearling steers or
heifers due to limited comparisons. Slaughter cows were 2.00 to 5.00 lower
and slaughter bulls were 2.00 to 3.00 lower with a good supply and moderate
demand.
