Compared to last week, feeder steers sold steady to 5.00 higher with instances
sharply higher. Heifers were steady to 4.00 higher with instances sharply
higher. There was good to very good demand for all feeders with active buyers
who showed best interest for weaned and preconditioned calves. Yearling steers
and heifers sold steady to firm with good to very good demand. Slaughter cows
and bulls were steady to 4.00 higher with good to very good demand. Extremely
high temperatures restricted cattle movement this week.
