There were a limited number of comparisons available today due to the weather
shutdown of most stockyards over the past couple of weeks. The markets that
were able, reported active markets with limited comparisons. Feeder steers and
heifers were mostly 5.00-10.00 higher with instances sharply higher showing
good to very good demand. Buyers showed best interest for quality long weaned
packages and groups. Slaughter cows and bulls sold mostly steady to firm with
moderate to good demand.
